The Haelvoet Nora bed is a multifunctional and innovative column bed. With integrated safety features and a focus on comfort and ergonomics, the Nora bed offers an optimal solution for any hospital environment. Additionally, a column bed is easy to clean thanks to its open carriage.

The Nora bed features a simple and intuitive hand switch.

The optional integrated weighing scale of the Nora bed enables precise patient weight measurement with an accuracy of 100 grams. Since the load cells are built into the carriage, the weight measurement is accurate in every position. Changes in height and inclination of the mattress platform (such as Trendelenburg and Reverse-Trendelenburg) do not affect the weighing accuracy. Accessories and other elements can be easily added or removed from the bed without altering the weight.

The fixed IV rod is mounted in such a way that the IV rod and the amount of infusion fluid do not affect the weight. Patients, for whom it is clinically crucial, targeted weight control can simplify many important decisions. Additionally, it helps in recording weight evolution and fluctuations.

For additional support during transport, the bed can optionally be equipped with WeAssist™, an innovative mobility solution from TENTE and LINAK. WeAssist™ detects the push and steering impulses applied by the user to the bed and provides intelligent assistance for almost every manoeuvre. Thanks to smart software and the TENTE Integral Assist wheel, the hospital bed can be moved significantly more easily, without the need for a second caregiver.

The Nora bed can optionally be equipped with a lateral tilt of the mattress platform (15°). This function supports caregivers in safely repositioning patients, reduces physical strain during care activities and facilitates transfers into and out of bed. By regularly changing pressure distribution, the lateral tilt also supports the positioning of long-term bedridden patients and contributes to a comfortable and ergonomic care environment.

The Haelvoet Nora bed combines comfort, safety, and functionality in one innovative design.
